Warped's limited-edition, Halloween-themed release, Scarecrow combines proprietary Red Virginia Cavendish — a rich, naturally sweet variety crafted from deep 2017 Reds and 2019 Orange-Red flue-cured leaf — with 2014 White Burley and vintage Dark air-cured leaf, yielding notes of malty chocolate and warming spices. Subtle top notes of chocolate enhance and complement the natural tobacco character of these select components, and the entire mixture is pressed for days before being sliced into old-fashioned crumble cakes, further marrying the flavors and enhancing its aging potential.
