Wild by name, yet tasteful in presentation, Savinelli's Joker series offers a selection of their signature shapes finished in either a deep, subtly auburn-tinged walnut in the smooth version, or an even darker, nearly black low-profile rustication. The accent adds just a dash of color, with bright nickel and black and red slivers of acrylic, which altogether serve well to complement both the smooth and the rusticated finish. The "173" is one of Savinelli's more unusual numbers, featuring full Italian shaping combined with a hint of Danish smoothness, rendering a plump Apple bowl with a Billiard-like height and depth.
