The Giubileo d'Oro line represents the best of the best of Savinelli's production. Only a tiny fraction of a percentage makes the cut, roughly one in a thousand pipes. The result is a series limited in numbers, yet consistently and beautifully grained. Additionally, each pipe comes complete with its own presentation box and brass-and-briar tamper, which is finished to match that of the pipe. The "128" is an elegant, arrow-straight Billiard with an elongated shank/stem configuration and a rather capacious chamber. Here sporting a warm, natural contrast stain, they make a fine addition to one of Savinelli's most prestigious lines.
