Bard
The word bard is derived from the Irish term meaning poet, traditionally one reciting epics within a particular oral tradition, and appropriately, the Bard line nods to the tavern pipes that once perched from the lips of countless storytellers in historic public houses across Ireland, but with an antique, muscular aesthetic evocative of Peterson's early Patent designs. Seldom-seen demi-Churchwarden designs, Bard pipes feature elongated, jet-black acrylic stems with Peterson's trademark fishtail mouthpieces and are available in a warm, ruby-red Heritage smooth finish as well as a Peterson's traditional, craggy rustication. Elevating the line further, each pipe is elegantly adorned with Peterson's nickel army mount, adding time-honored style and sophistication, as well as practical reinforcement.
