Wild by name, yet tasteful in presentation, Savinelli's Joker series offers a selection of their signature shapes finished in either a deep, subtly auburn-tinged walnut in the smooth version, or an even darker, nearly black low-profile rustication. The accent adds just a dash of color, with bright nickel and black and red slivers of acrylic, which altogether serve well to complement both the smooth and the rusticated finish. An impressive little Bulldog, the Savinelli "504" offers trim, classical proportions and a fine balance in both hand and profile.
