In lieu of an army mount, the stem is pressure-fitted to a tapered mortise (similar to old 1970s Dunmore pipes), ensuring a snug fit without the need for additional reinforcement. This muscular and broad-chambered XL02 Bent Apple model is ideal for customers looking for an "all-hardwood" aesthetic or a classic design in an elevated yet still rustic appearance.
