Certainly one of the more 'Danish' takes on a classical shape within the lauded Savinelli 'Punto Oro' line; a series considered to be the most 'English' of the venerable Italian firm's presentation. The '173' utilizes an oval shank, as well as a subtly greater prominence to the bowl, imbuing and otherwise classic apple with a bit more liquidity and flow. Many a collector holds the Savinelli Punto Oro Natural finish to be one of the most beautiful in the world. Looking at this '173', we don't have an issue with that.
